Always been plenty of Roe in the rolling countryside here. You don't see to many silver and bronze medal Bucks though due to the amount of certificate holders here. It very hard to "manage" them as someone next door always has other ideas!

I'm not sure about that Carl, that buck in photo 2 looks pretty good to me.

I understand what you mean about 'managing' the roe down here and 'neighbours', but a lot of the quality is down to what they eat, probably why they get so many medals in neighbouring Dorset, compare that to Dartmoor.
I will be honest, i have never seen anything approaching a Gold in Devon.

    Cheers

    Richard

    Morning Richard

He is well off the mark compared to a bench mark I have. Dried weight at the moment is around 430 grams and that will need a deduction of 90 grams! Needs to be up and around the 450 gram mark to stand a chance. All in all the weight and volume isn't there to hit the mark.

The CIC tables show bronze medals but not much more from this county.

    Regards

    Carl.
