NW Stalkers’ Best Practice charity eve
The BDS, DI & BASC are to hold a Deerstalkers’ Best Practice charity evening at 6pm on Thursday 16[SUP]th[/SUP] June kindly hosted by Malmo Guns, Bay Horse near Forton, Lancashire.
2015 was the inaugural year for the event and saw over 200 stalkers enjoy a welcome get together. All profits will again go to charity and this year that includes ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and NW Air Ambulance.
This year there will be demonstrations on tracking with dogs by the UKSHA, venison butchery by Honeywell Meats as well as others yet to be confirmed.
There will be stands from the BDS & BASC with the latter again having the highly popular ST-2 simulator on the ‘running boar’ mode.
The excellent Malmo shop will be open and Trade attending include Swarvoski, Tikka, Sako, Blaser, Mauser, Sauer & Harkila. Also on a stand will be Dalziel Butcher Supplies with a range of larder knives and equipment.
There will be an auction of stalking lots and a raffle of deer stalking and shooting goods.
Entry is £8 which includes a generous venison burger from Honeywells. There will be a pay bar. Numbers are limited so please register names in advance to secure a place by emailing nwopeneve@gmail.com
For more information please contact Alastair Boston at the Deer Initiative on alastair.boston@thedeerinitiative.co.uk or 07855 606 877.

I'll be there again. This for hosting it. Was only discussing it with John last week as to wherther is was on again.

Looking forward to seeing you all again chaps. If you, or anyone you know can kindly donate any lots for the charity auction or raffle we would, of course be more than grateful.
Many thanks
Nick

Should be another good event building on last years success.

We hope to have several interesting speakers and stands at the event.

Full details will follow soon.

By means of an update:
BASC's North of England head measurer will be on the association's stand so please bring along any trophies to be scored.
We have some great, 'money can't buy' auction lots including stalking, shooting and fishing on (otherwise) private estates. The stalking lots include outings for all 6 species of deer found in the UK.
Numbers filling fast so if you haven't already please book in.
Thanks
