The Longest Kill - by Sgt Craig Harrison

Picked this book up at the station and have read it over the last couple of days. Certainly makes you think, and particularly at the way organisations need those who can think and act outside the box, but usually haven't a clue how to handle, nurture and look after them. And anybody interested in long range shooting - it's a very good read as well.

I'm about half way through - so far it's a good read. I knew from a friend that Kosovo wasn't very pleasant, but this book really brought home how truly awful it was.

After reading this post i brought a copy and hav'nt been able to put it down,
It certainly shows how the people that are not at the 'sharp' end do not understand what these people go through
I hope things for him and the many others in a similar position improve.

I've downloaded it on to my Kindle and I'll start reading as soon as I finish "Biggles Flies East".

I wouldn't have known about it but for this thread.

I sense this might be the inception of The Beaconsfield Stalkers' Book Club - I propose The Beech House for club meetings
