You need to look on the NV forum regarding the ATN x sight before you purchase one.

Bruce , mealijimmy above uses same bullets your wanting info , & added to that what he doesn't know about digital NV & thermal s & making them , isn't worth knowing .
I'd ask him before you buy X-sight , there are better options

Not a .243, but I have run them through a previous 1:14 barrel on my 6mm/284 and was getting over 4300fps with no issues with key holeing/tumbling.

I have one and for the money (390 new) I much prefer it to the Photon I had before

Zerowing is a bit of a chore, you cant adjust for windage or elevation on the fly, the "ballistic calculator" is a bit of a gimic IMHO and I carry lots of spare batteries but aside from that I am very happy with it. The video function is great and I much prefer to use this in day mode than strugle with the pin hole on the Photon

I got the 3-12 version which is OK out to 100m for rabbit on my 22

ATN X-Sight 3-12x Digital Scopes for Rifles - Day and Night vision optics

If I were after fox id have gone for the 5-20x for 481 but I wanted to keep the weight to a minimum

ATN X-Sight II HD 5-20x Day Night Riflescope OB DGWSXS520Z | eBay

Cany say much about reliabuility as I havent owned it long enough but all in all I am glad I baught it.

I am sure theres 1000 units out there which are much better but i dont have a 1000 to spend
