    A Bullseye with the Spaniel

A very short notice call from a mate at 11.30 this morning had me chasing my tail to get out the door, this set my spaniel off in circles saying I am ready.

200 yard walk is about the norm on these fields, my mate was already set up around 3/4 of a mile on the second large field.

It was a little slow for a while as Chris was getting the action until the other flight lines started to develop, the strong cross wind had them diving in from a great height or coming in down wind like missiles...

Only 2 pairs out of the 50 as I would let a bunch go past and take the back bird rather than shoot at a bunch and scare the rest off...
Chip had a great time as always and in know flat out asleep...

Stalking is very much like going to the night club

You can always tell an Essex Boy, just you cant tell him much...

An hour in the field is worth a week of typing trash.....

Sounds like a good day, especially in high cross winds.
Chip is looking really good and quite pleased with himself!
