    Proper wellies for hefty calves

    Afternoon all,
Sorry if this has been done to death in the past, but i have a quick search and couldnt find anything.
Basically, i have a pair of Seeland Estate full zip boots with a side gusset, but the soles are wearing out, so i need to replace them before next winter season, but seeland in their infinite wisdom seem to have dropped this product from their line up.

Now, there are lots of zippy and expandable boots out there, but they all seem to stop at c44cm whereas my calves are 46cm at the flesh, so 48+ with trousers, etc on, so before i go mad or end up stalking barefoot, can anyone recommend a pair of boots for me?

PS, i have had a look at the muck-type boots and am not convinced of their ability to withstand the amount of thorns / brambles on my patch.

    Thanks in advance
    Steve
