    Ghillie Suits.

I`m thinking of investing in one after the Highland holiday for photography purposes but I know little about them.
    Are they uncomfortable, hot?
    Not worth the outlay?
    Opinions please.

Depends what material its made from, for your purpose I would avoid a full suit and get a head & shoulders cover. Made from mesh, you just add your own hessian and foliage etc

A good compromise between normal camo and a full Ghillie suit are the die cut leaf camo over suits made of mesh. I have one that I don't use much but it's great for static observations and things like roe calling. Packs up small so you only need to put it on when required and therefore don't have to walk around looking like Chewbacca.

Highly recommend these. I would not be without a set of these and I've used them every time I've been out shooting for the last 5 years or so now.
