    Sako 75 Trigger

Does anyone know or have a trigger for a Sako 75?

I am happy for custom kit as a complete replacement. Would like set trigger if possible.

    Hi

I have been down this route, and found that there no longer any aftermarket triggers for the Sako 75 or Tikka 595/695 actions. There is a BR trigger for the Tikkas made by Barnard in New Zealand, BUT it doesent have a safety , so no good for a stalking rifle. I have had a dialogue with the manufacturers of the CG Triggers ( Whidden Gunworks in the USA) and they are not making any of the new model for Sako/Tikka hook up yet or probably ever.

All I can say is that Neil McKilllop ( aka Dasherman) did a cracking job on the Sako 75 trigger, changed the spring and honed it. It is a huge improvement, and very adequate for a stalking rifle at 1.5 lbs let off pressure. I'll have a similar job done on my .260 595 Tikka when the stock get back from McMillan and its ready to go again.

Not good news, but that is the situation as far as I am aware.

    Best
