Hornady Full Boar GMX - Any one use them? What do you think?

    Hi All

Starting to think "Factory" Ammunition and lead free for my next trip to Germany. I dont reload so am dependant on limited availability of copper ammo in the uk.

Does anyone use this ammo? Id like opinions please! or alternatives.

Also does anyone know of a dealer who stocks in the hampshire area?

    Thanks

Sauvestre also make non lead, Dont know how accessible it would be in the UK but you can find it in the rest of Europe.
RWS also have lead free ammunition

I've been looking at these bullets in a bigger calibre and the reports seem favourable.

Also Edgars are helpful on the phone, you can fill in a form on the website and they call you back. Find out if they have any in stock and if any local dealers have ordered any recently. They would be a starting point and if not you know that if they are in stock at Edgars then anyone can order a couple of boxes for you.

I have used the factory 150grain Superperformance GMX in .308W. Heart and Lung shots 100 metres and closer on fallow and roe successfully.

Of all the factory ammunition I tried in my rifle they were second in accuracy only to 165grain Hornady Superperformance SSTs.

150grain SST Superperformance factory were awful...
