    Hello,
    I know this isn't stalking related or modern firearms related but I could do with some help if anyone has any knowledge of this,Click image for larger version.

ID:	71767 . I acquired this from my mate last year who has now passed away its very heavy and I'm looking to selling it but I have know idea where to get any information about or on it. if anyone could shed some light on this I would be very grateful for your help with this.

    I would suggest the Royal Navy , the carriage looks very much in the Naval style. Are there any markings on it ? There is almost always the markings of the Foundry in which is was cast.

    There is no markings on it that I have found which is why I need help with this .

    Holt's get good prices...but be aware that sometimes a private face to face sale may get an even better price...and if you visit their website you can check on past sale archives for realised prices. Hope it helps. Holt's are at Wolferton, Norfolk but do collect throughout the UK.

    A lot of yacht clubs will have such cannon for starting and finishing yacht races. At Cowes the Royal Yacht Squadron has a whole battery used to start lots of races. See the top photo on webpage here
