    Scope Tube size

    Whats the difference in the tube size, appart from the size.

    Is there any particular diiferances?

    20" is smaller than 22" tube measured diagonally! but i thought everyone had got rid of their tubes and went for plasma!!!!

    ah.. rifle scope tube!!! 30mm will still have 1" glass in,you still get the same size picture/view!! does not let more light in!! the only thing you get is more click adjustment for a greater bullet drop,and they do cost more!!

    You get more reticle adjustment in a larger tube.......maybe. And they're more expensive. And you need a new set of rings. Why have I just bought one?

    more adjustment is ideal for a Barret .50 cal etc!!!

    A good example is my PM2 has a 34mm tube, with my elevation turret, I can move my POI 220cm at 100m, that is to allow for some serious long distance shooting. Way out past my ability.
    Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
    The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
    Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
    The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

    Steyr,,,the Barret .50 is a sick gun,,shouldn't be mentioned on a humanitarian forum! ha ha ha

    My third one was from Macleods in Tain.
