Don't Panic the Germans are here...!

I had 2 pieces of EN24T which needed a fair bit spun of them, it was bit much for my belt driven lathe so I called it to a firm and browed their lathe I posted about last week.

One of the lads said come and have a look in the other work shop when you are finished!!
The owner had brought a new exhaust silencer so the fixing brackets needed changing, 1500cc petrol with the steering from the handle bars working cables to the slew brakes, I spotted a little touch of 2 spare spark holders in the engine bay.

Not sure what it was called or even if it was German! lol

Stalking is very much like going to the night club

You can always tell an Essex Boy, just you cant tell him much...

An hour in the field is worth a week of typing trash.....

SdKfz 2 or Kettenkrad. Originally for the Fallshirmjaeger as it would fit inside a JU52 but also used elsewhere as a light gun tractor.

Should make an excellent deer recovery vehicle!

It's a 'Kettenkrad' German halftrack. Very cool

Kettenkrad. Often seen in a picture towing Me 262 jet fighters later in the war. These are quite sought after and make considerably more than any modern car of similar size.

Although the original NSU or Stoewer manufactured ones (they were in production until 1947/8) command very high prices you can apparently get an 'ersatz' newbuild version from these guys: https://sites.google.com/site/wwwtan...er-cargo-bikes

Oddly in my youth I had a hankering after a Bren Carrier which was IMHO better as it was both British and didn't have that daft wheel at the front.

Quite possibly correct - this one was being offered for sale at $135,000 last year: https://www.warhistoryonline.com/mil...43-135000.html

Something like this? I found it the other month stalking in the forest.

There used to be one of those, in rather better condition, parked on the side of the old A55 in Holywell. There was an underground military vehicle museum there.
