russ i have used the niggleoh sling for the last three years its a great sling, you dont even feel the rifle on your back and its brilliant when dragging also when crawling its very handy, cant recomend it enough.

Russ i use both, the sling very good on a heavy rifle and the neoprene sleeve takes that TING out of the T8

never used the sling but the Moderator Cover is well worth the money plus if using a lamp attatched to scope you get no moderator glair.. the covers take some pulling on expesh T8 . . dont do what i did and once on it was to long so i trimmed about 1" off but week later it contracted back to its orig size !!

I have been using one for a couple of years now.n Its absalutly brillaint as long as you get it set up right. I have actually just gone back to a single strap sling on the 6.5 for woodland because I now use a roe sack. to be honest if you are only doing woodland work I dont think they have that much more to offer than single strap -unless you will be dragging miles. On the hill I would use nothing else (when I go on the hill mine will go back on ).

I dont think it would fit unless your .22 mod is T8 diametre - It was loose on my Ase Utra S5.

    Hope this helps

I had the sling but swapped it for this:

I found the sling tended to swing from side to side on my back as I walked and moved a lot more if a moderator and bipod were attached.

As for the moderator cover, I had one and it was great, especially if I bashed into a branch as it stopped the ping noise.

    Russ,
Bit of a price differential for you Bushwear 51.50 StalkersUK who are trade members on this site 39.75. StalkersUK advertise this as the Niggeloh Back Pack Sling but I am sure they are the same animal just a much better price. Have a look on their website.

I 'think' (but David may correct me), that it is the Harkila rifle backpack.

I'm interested in one to carry my 12 bore mossberg with slug when tracking - looks like a good bit of kit as it keeps your hands free for working the dog but the gun is easily within reach when required.
