+ 1

But disappointingly fewer attendees this time, and some confusion over the start time - I arrived just before 7.00pm (the time given in the first post on this thread) to find the presentations already underway. Someone else said that they'd been told a start time of 6.00pm.
Also, with such a tight timetable of speakers, some of the socialising element of the evening is lost. It's good to have a get together and a chat with like minded folk, but there was actually not much opportunity for this. Maybe for the future it would be worth actually scheduling a break of about half an hour in the middle? The breaks that we did have were barely long enough to get to the bar, grab a drink and get back to your seat. I'm sure the first Talking Stalking evening I attended did have such a break.

I thought numbers were down too Tim, in comparison to previous years, which is a shame. We preach to these organisation that we need more in the area but we need support from members and non members and bums on seats to make these things work.I got there fairly early and got some chin wagging in, if only these events weren't like Christmas and only once a year.

I enjoyed it but had to leave early due to other commitments. Thought the first talk was great. Dave's course he does would be very interesting.
The topic of TB and desises to cattle deer and badgers was informative. Had to chuckle when the speakers said what they checked badgers for and someone said do they check the for lead. Lol
parking was a problem even though I arrived before 7pm. May have been unlucky there.
Thumbs up.
