Avoiding rifle rest bags "rip off"...

I've re-posted this here. Originally I posted this in response to the thread about ammunition prices. But then thought that it might help fellow members save a goodly sum of money if buying rifle rest bags. As I did!

Sometimes it's worth a browse of airgun shops as some of their stuff is useful to us too...Hope it helps save money...

Well...here's a "rip off" (although no blame to the seller) between CALDWELL and BSA rifle rest bags!

Look at the links, and the pictures, both look the same to me. Made, no doubt, in the same factory in China.

But the BSA branded bags, Drapers Airguns, Nottingham...or Knibbs Airgun Spares near Birmingham are just under 10. The Caldwell are, variously, on different UK websites 22, 26 and at Uttings over 30. Why?

They sure look the same - they are 15 delivered on eBay. More like the US price.

I just bought a Caldwell one too.

I expect we will end up with a power station built by the chinese with a british sign outside that cost a fortune ontop of original price!!

Or, if Caldwell built it, this power station, it'd be, truly, "green"...but at three times the price! LOL!

I have some of these bags and think that they're excellent. Worth paying a bit extra for a quality British product.
