    Cool keith rippin

    Good afternoon.

I am a new member and live (and shoot) in North East Somerset.
I am 75 years old and officially retired in 2008 but still go into the office and work as a legal consultant two days a week.
I have held a firearms certificate for more than 50 years, (initially for a .22 rimfire) and currently have .177 and .22 air rifles "on ticket" together with 3 bolt action Sako rifles in 17HMR, .223, and .243 respectively and a 7x57 (7mm Mauser) Heym 31 straight pull.
I have shot Roe and Muntjac for many years but in my location the opportunity to stalk Fallow, Sika and Red deer does not usually arise.
I enjoy working with walnut and have restocked all my rifles (other than the air rifles) to suit me (palm swell, shape of pistol grip, length of pull, drop at shoulder, height and shape of cheek piece and forend etc - all pillar bedded etc).
Other hobbies include fishing (mostly flyfishing) for game and sometimes sea and coarse fish, and sailing
I am happily married and have 2 sons and a daughter.
