rainy day pigeons

Hi I have a question about shooting pigeons on a rainy morning.
I was hoping to go out tomorrow to bag a few birds before work in the morning but am wary as the forecast is for showers.

What are your experiences on rainy days like and what sort of locations are best?

cheers
a.

If birds want to feed then they will go and feed, a few years ago a mate and I had to retreat back to the truck 3 times as it was raining so hard and yet the pigeons still were decoying in to the pattern.

If you don't go then you will learn nothing even if it is not to go in the rain!!

Around here the farmers are ripping up the stubbles so the easy food source is being turned over, look for a field with food on and a flight line in and out of the field

well worth the effort of going out, bagged 10 from about 8 til 9:30.
In drizzly rain and a quite heavy fog which meant they would come out of nowhere. Also got to understand a bit about their flight lines which was good as well.

thanks for the encouragement tim.

Sounds like a result all round.

Thank you.
