Bell & Carlson Medalist Stock for Howa

I have for sale a Bell & Carlson Medalist stock to fit a long action Howa with a sporter profile barrel. This has had very little use and is now surplus as I have recently disposed of the rifle. It is in Olive Green/Black spiderweb and has been glass bedded by Rhino Rifles.

I would highlight that there is a minor problem with the stock in that due to a manufacturing defect there is not enough clearance on the left side of the stock to allow the bolt release to be fully depressed to release the bolt. The action has to be taken out of the stock to remove the bolt. This could be easily overcome by milling or filing a small amount off the top left side of the stock - something which I didn't get round to doing before I sold my Howa. I would estimate that somewhere between 1/16" and 1/8" would need to be trimmed off.

A series of photos are below which show the bolt release button clearly.

    I am asking £95.00 posted.

    Kind regards,

    Tim

This is still up for grabs Gents.

For your information I believe the stock would have to be relieved slightly for the bolt release in a similar fashion to what Borden Rifles do for their bolt release. www.bordenrifles.com
