    Morning all, I'm looking to purchase my first tracking lead, any recommendations ?

    hey up, biothane is the way to go, no hassles of snagging or looking after no less than 10m all the way I can send you some links to purchase and in the meantime I can give you a 10mm biothane leash to get you going if you want just pass it on when you are finished, atb wayne.

    Another vote for Biothane.

    I use one of these

    Really good quality product and after 3 years of hard multi terrain use my permatack tracking lead is still
    like new.

    I am using a Deerstalker lead from Niggeloh - http://www.niggeloh.de/index.php/leads.html - I can use it as a shoulder lead, but most of the time I hold it alongwith my sticks in my right hand with the hound on the right - I shoot left handed. If she is following a trail then there is enough length to allow her to follow without getting too far ahead.

    +1 definitely biothane. You could also try Stone. He makes them up and they are cheap and custom.
