Went out this morning on Morecambe Bay in a barmy -3c. Beautiful morning and shed loads of geese in fact I have never seen so many geese flying in every bloody direction apart from mine. Didn't even manage to get a shot off though raised the gun twice. But never mind was a great but seriously cold morning.

That looks superb - lovely atmospheric photos too :tiphat:

Is that a 10 bore or a long-barrelled 12?

Thanks. I wish I had a better camera. I use a GoPro then capture the stills so they are not the best quality. Sadly I am starting to struggle with my hands in the cold so can only envisage dropping a decent camera in the mud/water.

It's neither it's actually my Winchester SX3 semi auto. For some reason in pictures t looks like I am holding a blunderbuss.

Really good pictures. I so miss getting cold and plastered with mud.
When those gesse come in numbers it's a magical sound and sight. Keep posting

I have never seen so many geese flying in every direction bar mine haha. Was seriously unlucky but such is life. I think yesterday was probably the coldest I have ever been in the UK. At 0930 it was still -2.5c on the walk back ice had actually formed on my walking stick.
