    10*42 EL's value

Trading up to a pair of range finding bins. I have been offered £800 for my 8 year old, almost perfect condition, boxed 10*42 EL's. Is that a fair price or should i try to sell them privately?

    What do we think?

Check previous ads on here, along with fleabay. You'll always make more selling privately, as the retailer will whack on a margin before selling on.

I have been offered a pair of 8.5x42 el, manufactured in 2001, for £600. The are in good used condition with a bespoke leather case but no papers.

And a CTC 30x75 same as above, date, case etc, for £500.

Any my views on these prices are welcome.

Thank you guys. Did a bit of homework and around the £900 mark looks about right, so not far off what I have been offered. Irish Bob, that looks like a bargain, I should bite his hand off.

Thanks. The good thing about optics is they don't require a variation!

Rip their hand off for the binos. Scope price is about right.
