Not wishing to hijack any recent threads, I just wanted to point anyone on here who may be going through - or knowing that they may shortly have to go through - a tough time, to the following -

Grief is good by Hilary Hart - here (it waffles a lot, but the gist is very good)

http://www.hilaryhart.org/articles/grief-is-good.html

and Sheryl Sandberg's letter to her husband who died after falling off a treadmill in a Gym - here (especially the bit about "kicking the sh*t out of plan B).

I am unashamedly crap in similar situations but found these very helpful and hope they help someone.

I've buried a granddaughter, a grandson and a mother in the last few months. I'm happy for Mom. I'll grieve for the grand kids -as well as my son now 31 years gone- til the day I die.~Muir
