Thread: English taxidermist and international shipper

    English taxidermist and international shipper

    Gday all,

Plans with the wife and I are starting to take a bit more shape, looking like mid to late July next year we could be over.

I don't believe in getting ahead of myself but I like to be prepared. So I'm looking for suggestions of good quality taxidermists for shoulder mounts of roe deer.

I want to sort out things like cost and getting the animal to them (turn around time isn't so big an issue within reason) but also it'd be great to have someone that could sort out the paper work and shipping back to Australia.

I would be tempted to just get the heads boiled and skins tanned as the last time I shipped a mounted trophy home from nz it cost more than the entire hunt!

Any names and contact details would be great. Even better would be some examples of work on roe.

    Thanks all,

    Gsp

I read and re-read your first sentence and thought you were planning to get divorced on a certain date next year.... I thought that was an interesting time to need a taxidermist! Glad I read on!

    Hi malc,

Do you have any examples of roe work. If you can, it'd be great to get an email off you regarding this info. Although I did have trouble when I initially spoke to you about a hunt a while back, the private messages and emails didn't seem to be coming through on my end which I think has happened a couple of times (I blame Tapatalk).
