Hi Hooter, I have a friend who is an ex Purdey stocker who would certainly be interested. He is not on the internet. Would you like to send me a couple of pictures to yeldhamgunrepairs@outlook.com ? I can then print them off and get you an estimate if required.
    Kind regards
    Steve

Turn my blank which is not fancy into a reasonable stock for a rook and rabbit single shot rifle. I am not skilful enough to inlet the action but would like to shape and finish myself

The existing stock has a certain amount of plastic wood in and around the wood to metal borders! I would not expect exhibition work

    Thanks for the reply

May I suggest Steve at Parmoor stocks. He duplicates stocks so can copy the inletting from your existing stock and leave the rest untouched or get it to any stage you want and then you can do the rest. Still not cheap at 250 and it would depend on what the inletting is like on your current stock i.e. Would you want it copied!
