A Rising Tide....

With fog and no wind the last couple of days the sprat of a breeze was at least in the right direction for an afternoon flight.

Where we went is a big marsh so picking your spot is a lottery, however the birds will follow up the rising tide so we picked a nice creek setting a 5 string of mallard decoys on a mother-line, with 2 lines of 6 teal decoys using my sliding set up.

Some teal came early from behind catching us out so we split the watching and dialled in to 3 teal.
Our shooting cleared the marsh for a while until the widgeon made there move, Chip picked 4 out the creak and one off the salting's.........
