Hi,Im looking to buy a 28 bore probably Lincoln premier gold. These have a pistol grip stock and i really like the prince of wales type stock. Would a gunsmith/stocker be able to alter and any idea how much this would cost. Thanks toads

HI, probably more than the gun was worth - down here at least. Some manufacturers do offer a PoW stock - Browning I think. Worth getting your gunshop to source one for you, if you want new, or have a look on guntrader. Lincoln's are nice guns but not worth restocking because of the cost. have you considered a SBS - lots more PoW stocks? Francis Lovel near Witney would be able to find one if he hasn't got one.

Yes, in theory, unless there is some sort of bolt issue through the rear of the stock to the rear of the action. But to round off the square end of your pistol grip and open the angle of it shouldn't IMHO be beyond possibility.
