Bolt knob by James Clark of Jager s.a.

Having just read one of the worst posts on this sight I thought I might advertise some good work James did for a friend of mine very recently...

A custom bolt knob on a S/S Remington 700 .243 (yes I know, a Remington 700 that you have to spend such a lot of money on to make it as good as anything else!).

Anyway, the result has made a real difference to the cycling of the bolt. It feels easier to lift and smoother but also has better feel in a gloved hand on cold foxing nights.

Well done James and Karl is very pleased, thank you.

just got a couple of rifles back Tuesday evening from some work by James / Jager
I had thread protectors added (very neatly blended to my eye) and one needed crowning and a couple of other issues sorted.
Both are now coated in a nice satin black finish as I've never been overly keen on bright stainless finishes for hunting.
I had a few other things attended to at the same time so will add a note once I've scoped them back up and zeroed them ..

......best of all I have a little Sako Vixen coming my way from James with a new barrel shortly. Looking forward to that one 8-)

Apart from that, it was very naughty of him to jump on somebody else's thread to promote himself when the original poster was promoting James's work.
