    Sako 75 synthetic thumbhole??

Does such a thing exist?? Like the look of GRS stocks but really keen on a) thumb hole and b) synthetic. And I can't find one! Any thoughts?

McMillan or SSS may be an option, not cheap though.

I had a Sako 75 done in a laminate thumbhole stock some time ago. It was an expensive saga that I wouldn't repeat. Regards JCS

Why hey such a saga, was it connected to difficulties with the stock?

I love my Jo West stock. I went for the Tatctical rather than the Hunter and its lovely to shoot. That said its high seat only as its heavy

Mate of mine has one on a 75 in .243, but laminted so bl**dy heavy! As you say, high seat on only in reality...

Someone needs to step up for us 75 owners, as the choice of aftermarket stocks is pants.
    Sako 75 6.5x55mm - Z6i 3-18x50. Sako P94S .22lr

McMillan do a fair range of stocks for Sako rifles old and new, both tactical and hunting.

Not a massive choice as just the one manufacturer. Look at all the kit for Remington etc. You could argue that you NEED to customise some rifles, whereas the 75 just works as is. I just fancy something other than the standard syn stock, but none of the McMillans appeal
