    CZ 527 Modified Bolt Handle

Ive got a Cz 527 with a low profile weaver rail that sets back for me to allow the correct eye relief on my NV rifle scope. the problem I have is the bolt is fowling it when its opening it. any ideas what I can do? I've seen custom bolt handles for sale in the US but they can't be imported. long shot but has anyone got one for sale ??

    How handy are you?
easy enough if you have some patience, a grinder or file and some fine grit paper

be surprised if you can get an aftermarket one from the US without a headache from whoever is sending it

look on here for .222 refurb
i modified mine to clear a scope and just generally smarten it up

As Bewsher says there is plenty of scope to modify bolt handle & still leave enough strength.Did mine to suit my chosen scope/mounts height with no issues. His post http://www.thestalkingdirectory.co.u...ht=.222+refurb shows it well although I ground my bolt handle to a different profile to better suit my needs. It looks as though the underside of your picatinny rail could also be relieved as the taper increases the depth.

Does the rail need to come back so far?
its usually the ocular bell on low mounted x42 scopes that foul
lot of meat to remove to clear that rail

I thought that almost looks like it could be back to front as using the rear of that as it is would put the rear of the scope pretty far back.

Its for a night vision rifle scope, so you can get the correct eye relief
