    Stalking outing in Perthshire (nr Blairgowrie) from 16 - 22nd August

    I am fishing on the Tay between the 16 and 22nd August and wouldnt mind a morning or evening stalk, I shakll be stopping near kinclaven (Blairgowrie)

    Not sure how far Tarvie is from there, but I stalked with Jimmy Tod in 2008 - couldn't fault it and finished up with a nice 11 pointer. I don't have his number, but I can probably get it if it is the right area for you.

    Tarvie is a fair hike, it's 20 ish miles North of Inverness.........
    Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
    The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
    Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
    The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

    You have glen isla, glen doll and many more on your door step. got the number for glen isla if you want it for hill roe or early reds

    TJ, there must be two Tarvie's - the one I stalked was just to the east of Pitlochry. There's a few details on James Marchington's website.

    No Probs, the one I know, is up in the Black Water Valley.
