Not being a decent cook by any stretch of the imagination ,this is a meal I discovered by accident .
Home alone didn't fancy Chinese I had rummage through the usual tins fridge etc I made the following and it was unbelievably good.
Two woodpigeon breasts sliced in two rolled in flour fried along with two slices of black puding and a couple of rashers of bacon when all three ingredients are cooked, sit the black pudding on a plate lay the woodpigeon on top then the bacon ,cut a piece of all three together and its magic.

Enjoy
let me know what you think.

Pigeon goes really well with black pudding and/or bacon on a salad too. Sliced over the top of some lettuce leaves and whatever else you fancy. Splash of red wine, balsamic vinegar and a bit of redcurrant jelly in the pan after the pigeon comes out, reduce a bit and makes a lovely sauce to drizzle over the top. Takes about 5 mins to make - yum!!
