    Let barrel cool inbetween shots.

I am trying to eliminate all possible causes of poor grouping. I shoot a .308 steyr scout. Should i be letting the barrel cool inbetween shots. I have been letting it cool every five shots or so, not for long though, just enough so you can touch it, not hold it. Should i be letting it cool after every shot.
