    Reference letter

I've just been asked to write a reference letter for someone joining a stalking syndicate that Ive known for some years.
    Will this do the job?

    Re: Such and such
    Anywhere lane
    Nowhere

    To whom it may concern,

I have personally known xxxxx for at least 15 years.
I have found xxxxx to consistently set himself low personal standards and always fail to achieve them.
His friends would follow him anywhere but only out of morbid curiosity.
I have found him to work well in the beating team but only when fully supervised and cornered like a rat.
Every time he opens his mouth its usually to replace the foot he has in there already
The possibility of him breeding simply makes me shudder

Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to get in touch

    Yours faithfully

    Xxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx

I should think it will do the job nicely, probably get him a visit from his FEO too

Blindness to suffering is an inherent consequence of natural selection. Nature is neither kind nor cruel but fiercely indifferent.

    You should also add that

He constantly pushes doors that say pull.
You trust him as far as you can throw him.
Generally starts something of well, tapers off in the middle and gets worse towards the end.

I generally find key words like-
    Needs,
    But,
    Should,
    If,
are always a positive thing to put in any statement about someone who you are writting something about, for someone else to read.

Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

    I was going to add:

consistently puts yellow cartridges into his 12bore and asks me why they go so far down the barrel!

    Might be worth adding:

"Hasn't caused any shooting related accidents............ Yet"

Credentials like that he could become an FEO! Believe it or not I once recieved a reference letter quite similar enclosed with a job application, I went over the application with a fine tothed comb to see if it was a wind up but everything else seemed genuine, God knows why the bloke enclosed it. Jc,

    its illegal to,
one refuse to give a reference for a job
two its illegal to give a bad one.

that's why you got a reference which was completed correctly but may have made inferences....

as for the original, hilarious and thanks just what we need a wee giggle. perfect.
i would add he had a perfect family life till his wife and kids left him because he drank too much.

"it's important that you learn by your mistakes.
