    22-250 For Deer

    Hi guys,
I've been asked to load 22-250 for a Deerhunter
Anybody got any favorite bullet powder recipes, target deer are Reds and Sika
I have only loaded varmint and match ammo before in the 22-250
rifle is a standard Rem 700 sporter.
    Robert.

Try barnes 53gr TSX and Ramshot Tac powder. I've used them on muntjac with good results.

Yes we can get that, mostly use the ADI powders as they are available all the time.

Search on 22-250 loads you will find lots of stuff.

I used 35.5 gn H380 or VV140 over 55gn Sierra or Speer softpoints for Roe, none ran away. (Mag primers as well but dont tell anyone it is a secret)

mine was a standard Remington BDL 700 (apart from pillar bedding, free floating, trigger etc)
