I have just spent a long time sanding and finishing my rifle stock with TRU oil .I am more than pleased with the end result . My question is ,do I need to put another coat of another product to make it waterproof ?

If you have truly filled the grain and built up the laters, thr only other thing is sanding (polishing) with a fine grade paper with boiled linseed oil thinned out and finally boiled linseed with rottenstone powder.

The main ingredient of Tru Oil is tung oil. It drys out hard. No further treatment required - especially not with linseed oil, which would have been an alternative to tung oil, but not an add on.

All the tru oil I've seen, are an Linseed oil based product, with a little tung oil added as well as drying agents.
No need to put anything else on top, but be aware it is not 100% waterproof.
