    Lightbulb Cleaning Threads

Use a piece of old towel with a spray of oil, wrap it around the threads and twist in the direction of the threads. The fibres get right into the thread and clean all the muck out.

Works great for moderator threads, shotgun choke threads and anything else you can get the towel into!

I use a similar method Alex but winding the dirt out to the start of the thread. I also use my old toothbrushes to clean the guns the finer nooks and cranies of my guns.

Try using a normal piece of rag then try using a piece of towel (as in bath towel type) then come back and tell me if you still think it's a wind up.
