    Neither. I prefer the following approach:
    Ballistic Programs
    Rgds JCS

    Milrads for me, particularly with a matching milrad graduated reticle.

    As I'm a bit of a duffer I find the maths easier with the metric system!

    Just had a look at these programs - very good! Pity I haven't yet got the scope to match!

    Thanks. I have plugged in the details for my 243 and this is the answer that I get.

    Then I have loaded it onto my iPhone using Dropbox. So when I went to shoot on the range at 500yds the other day, I just checked the iPhone and picked a point on the ladder for my sighting shot.

    Regards

    aye balistic programs are good but you still need to adjust to the range to the trgt. i use schmidt pm2 5-25x56 in conjunction with leica range finder binos and nite industries balistic program. some folc prefer moa to milrads as there is more movement on the turrets than with milrads. also theres the just aim of method.

    I use the 2 x 2 hands and feet method in conjunction with the lucky bas**** "honest I didnt know it was a gold " approach
    as its during the " her indoors is watching eastenders itsoktobeouttonight season". Which runs from January to January regardless of the omnibus edition . The additional equipment is an old 6 x 12 pan for use in the garden only !
    MOA = Moans on average
    MILRADS =Might Include Lots of Realy Adorable Dress Shoes

    Milrads def reduce the MOA,s

    Hope thats cleared things up now Frax ?
