    85gn ballistic tips in 25-06 - any load data?

    i've got some rockets to load...

    have n160, h380 and h4895 to hand, anyone got any loads that i can work up to.

    i have acces to usual online info, just wanted to pick your brains

    gary, i have a lee reloading card that came with the dies and on it ,it as the reloading data,it go's as follows, 85 grn bullet[ h4895] start load /[41 grns] and max load[ 44.5grns]//// and now[ h380] start load /[45grns] and max load[ 49grns] if its any help, atvb steve

    Ok I did try some and also tried H-380 in my 25-06:-

    Federal case trimmed
    CCI 200 primer
    Noseler 85 grn Ballistic tip seated to COL 3.212"
    48.0 H-380

    Sorry but the other powder I tried them with was H4350:-

    51.5 grn behind the 85 Grn Nosler at a COL of 3.217".

    Both loads were safe in my rifle

    However I suggest you start carefully and check against published load data before using either mentioned here..
