    Lantra ATV Courses

Hi, looking to do a Lantra ATV course - can anyone recommend a decent training provider in the North West?

Had a look at the Lantra website, but nearest course to me is Aberystwyth.

    Anyone know of any closer?

    Cheers

    Oggy,
You might need to just slow down a minute!
If this is for an FC lease then there is a new qualification that is needed, I may be wrong but I think it is called NPTC..

    regards

    Hi Griff,

The land I stalk on is ex-forestry commision and is now owned by a private company. The guy who runs our sydicate mentioned a while ago before I got my quad that the new owners would probably want me to do a Lantra course.

I'll check with him again to make sure this is still the case or if they would now require this new ticket

Try Lantra's own site for horses mouth info

Not sure that FC only accept NPTC, but could let you know tomorrow. Lantra award is accepted by HSE and most estates I know use them for their courses

get in touch with the SAC, they organise all our courses, including the first aid one. Manual handling one has passed me by, think agriculture is exempt from it
