    what a great start to the day !

    i am either dedticated or just plain stupid ! tracking some bodys elses wounded deer in sheet wind and rain and after nearly 800 yds find out i cant go any futher . so i have grumpy bavarian mountain hound who wanted to carry on tracking , one soaking wet handler now has a labrador with an attitude problem (because he wanted to go tracking) ................... what a great start to the day !cheeers lee

    Never mind Lee it could have been worse, it will be snowing tomorrow.
    I guess after 800 yards you came up against the boundary.
    Shame it couldn't be found though, i know have that feels as you are aware.
    Good to meet up with you in Moretonhampstaed last week, hope you had a good couple of days in good old Devon.

    well i do wonder !

    i was dissapointed for the dog , it was what i call her first long distatance runner , and the first she has not been able to find !

    we were prob 20 mins behind the animal the scent was strong and xena was making really good progress despite the strong cold wind !

    it was a single red hind split from the herd of 30 plus.

    well atleast ive not got to live with the guilt of loosing it !
