and still there out feeding geting low on body fat . To day i took a walk out looking and sorting out what my DMP will be if the weather continues. Saw about 10 deer one large doe that was limping fence accident i think. But it was cold i dont think even i can remeber a time when the weather stayed this cold for this long.

Fox out on the prowel i saw atleast 4 on a 200 acre spot

Big buck looking good with a few deer in the far way distance.

The doe will not limp any more she will now get turned in to VENI DOGS

Buck stretching his legs as i dont let him stalk with me in this place and certainly not in this weather.

I shot a fit young Sika pricket last Saturday evening. Normally they would have half an inch of fat on their backs and rolls of it around the kidney's. I would say he had less that half the fat I would have expected to see.

The pigeons are feeding on the ivy around my house and look very thin.

Thaw is due from Sunday onwards, can't come soon enough for the wild life.

I won't be shooting again until things ease up.
    Brian.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you......

Had three does in two days here (Cumnock) all yearlings/calfs... All shot between 12 - 1...

Nothing really moving here until the sun is up in the forests, and yes 6 Pointer can vouch its bloody cold but the sun helps...
