    Leica 1st Class Service

    Guys,

    Lost a objective lens cover for my Geovids between xmas and NY... So contacted Leica for a new one on Tuesday and asked for a spare, when could I have one etc how much would they cost...

    Received an email that afternoon asking for my address and today received FOC two new lens covers...

    Brilliant service and something that will stick for next time either when asked advice or for myself...

    Alex i bought some 8 x 42 hd from focal point a warrington and cracked a rubber eyepiece dont know how but rung the number in the manual and recieved two new eye cups within two days

    Always recieved an exceptional service from both Leica and Swarovski; sadly I can't say the same for Zeiss uk.

    Glad to hear that Leica have at last got their act together. It took me best part of a month to get my replacement objective covers earlier this year. I think they have moved their customer support unit and must now be settled down. I must say that I did get a nice e mail from their UK products manager. They may well be looking into a new design of objective cover as it is not up to the job.

    Pete,

    I sent them my address on the 16th Feb and they were on the doormat when I got home this last weekend so maybe worth checking they have sent yours and that they haven't fallen foul of the Royal Fail!
