Thread: large amount of fat

    large amount of fat

    just skinned my first deer (Fallow doe) and was surprised at the large amount of fat on the carcass. is it easier to take this off now before it is butchered or after. I have been reading through some similar posts and the general opinion is to leave the fat on.

    i need to loose about 2 stone the start of this year as i am planning on defending a title around april so the less fat the better for me
