.300 Moderator to be used on .243 and .222

I own a .270 and a Northstar mod which is the .300 version.

I am looking at getting a .222 and .243, my variation has been approved (after a bit of negotiation with the head of Northants firearms licensing) but just not physically got it back in writing.

I am now wondering if I use the mod on the .222 and .243 will there be any issues.

IE. Not reducing the report of the rifle sufficiently enough? Muzzle flash, recoil etc.

At 250 each I am wondering if I really need to get 1 or even 2 more mod's? That way I can spend more money on the rifles and scopes.

I look forward to your replies.

    Cheers

Both the rifles in my gallery are shot with the same AU-S5 in .30 cal.

Would there be a notable difference in db reduction versus a .25 mod though?

I have a .30 cal t8 which I use on both .223 and .6.5 good reduction on both rifles and in my opinion not worth the added expense of forking out for two mods. Mine are hunting rifles and I am only firing a single shot at a time so not a large of rounds being fired.

I use a .30 cal T8 on my Tikka .222 Remington .243 & the X-Bolt .270 don't notice any grate difference in either noise or recoil from when i had one in .25 cal.

Due to a mix up in the shop what I thought was a .30 Cal P8 turned out to be a .243 one. It will handle the 6.5mm but not a .270 so I need to get either a new baffle stack or as there will be a foresight on the new .280 a new muzzle can.
