    Decision made- The new Pup

Well all, I am sure you can all remember me posting a previous thread "Cant decide"(on deer tracking breed), well I now have. On the 8th January myself and the OH travelled from Ireland to Stranaer to collect a Labrador bitch from another SD member known as Stringer.
We did previously see the pups and where very happy with the pedigree etc and the breeder himself, whom definately knows a thing or two about working dogs and whelping bitches. We settled on the bitch and on collection we were more than happy with our choice.
Thanks to Stringers family she is well socialised and is full of beans and easy to toilet train which is great!!
She is settling in well however the OH has her spoilt, but as she assures me its ok as she is only a pup!!
We know have her near two weeks and everything is going well, she has her 2nd vacc and we are now on the road for taking her out and about into the fields. No travel sickness which is a bonus at this young age, as she is well use to life in the car.
I have posted a few pic's to let you's all have a look.
I actually dragged a piece of meat around the wooden floor the other night while she was outside. She got the scent in seconds and followed the trail until the end so i am delighted, after all she is only 10weeks.
Called her Dearg (Irish for red)
Hope you's enjoy the few pic's,
    ATB Gentleman Jim.
P.s Stringer once again thanks a million for everything

She looks very settled in already. I am very pleased with the way the whole litter have progressed so far. It was a pleasure to meet you and your good lady, I am sure Dearg will have a great life with you.

    All the best

"Imagine you're a deer. You're prancing along, you get thirsty, you spot a little brook, you put your little deer lips down to the cool clear water... BAM! A f**kin bullet rips off part of your head! Your brains are laying on the ground in little bloody pieces! Now I ask ya. Would you give a f**k what kind of pants the son of a bitch who shot you was wearing?"
