Sauer 202 spares and accessories - where from in UK??

Chaps - looking to investigate spare barrels, cases etc for Sauer 202 but cannot find anything on Garlands site to help me, or anything from other on-line stores.

Anyone got any UK links (have looked at Sauer Germany) to make my weekend both interesting and potentially expensive?

Macleods sometimes list 202 barrels, can only see a .270 at the moment but would guess they could get them to order, could try the guys at the BDS or Reeves they deal with Garlands and will give better prices than going to Garlands direct.

    Hi Rickoshay

My replies a bit late for the weekend. Garlands are the UK Distributor for Sauer and should be able to send you a catalogue for the Sauer rifles. Closest stockist for you will be Cotswold Country Living in Cirencester. Speak to Peter Tupper numbers 01285 657527. Now here comes the eye watering part for Sauer accessories, Magazine 90, Barrel 500+, Case 300-400, Synthetic Stock 500-600. Best to look out for secondhand stuff bit its like rocking horse s**t these days. Word of caution over barrells as Sauer's come in 3 sizes, Small, Med and Magnum which means the bolt, barrel and magazines have some limitations e.g. you can't go from a .243 to a .308 without changing the bolt, barrel and mag (bolt on a .243 has 3 lugs, 6 on 0.308 upwards. Hope this is handy.

    ATB Jason.

Thanks everyone, think I have enough to be getting on with - still very little on the UK net.
If I were Sauer I might be a bit frustrated with my UK distributors; plenty of otherd distraction from Blaser/Mauser stables. Hmm..prices are stacked indeed, thankfully am looking for .308, which matches 6.5x55 set up; although mag might be short for .308. Cheers
