I think to get into syndicates you need to meet people face to face. The one invitation that I have had to join a syndicate came at a BDS event. Can I suggest that you involve yourself in the BDS if not already there? The BDS Central Branch is very active. Secondly, with the better weather coming, there are rifle ranges at Blairadam, Castlelaw, Carfraemill and Blair Atholl where again you may meet up with like minded folk. Thirdly, pheasant syndicates are another avenue to look at. I have only been to a couple of BASC events, but again, it's a chance to meet folk. Finally, there are Best Practice Events and at one of these I got an invite to go to Mull to witness a DSC II candidate.

You've got to get out there and talk to folk. Somewhere, sometime an opportunity will come up.

    Good luck. JCS
