    ive just bought a box of 100 grain 243 soft points from the above manufacturer but on the brass it says frointer not hornandy anyone enlighten me as to why

    In 1964 Mr. Joyce Hornady's bullet making company started remanufacturing loaded ammunition using surplus military brass and sold it under the Frontier label. Later and as a consequence of case supply problems caused by the war in Vietnam he also started making his own new brass and used the same name.
