Would you take the shot winter barly field

quote (centralbeltstalker)you should have put it up as a poll of would you take the shot or not.
i bet it would be a 50/50 with me personally airing on the side of caution.
up hill from camera angle and no great back stop.. best left till next time.

SO HERE IT IS SIMPLE YES OR NO WOULD YOU HAVE TAKEN THE SHOT FROM WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PICTURE REMEBER THIS IS ABOUT SAFE BACK STOP NOT DISTANCE.

i cant vote on this as the statement is incorrect, i never said the back stop was unsafe.
thanks for quoting me as i look forward to repaying the favour in due course and make you famous x

yes , you would have to be at that angle because of the fence

glad you added the picture. i would also say adjust your poll to add whether the shot would be taken from sticks or prone.

The piccys unclear David and it appears there is something stood behind the beast thats broadside on (A kid Maybe) cant tell from the piccy, and by taking the shot might badly wound such an animal, also looks like a definitive boundary fence there is there implications as regards to shooting rights over boundaries? Without knowing the full situation and clarity of whats shown the answer would be no

whats the black line in the photo is it relevant to safety ?.

There may be an alien spaceship hovering off the picture... Of course it is safe and only a flapper wouldn't take a shot after ensuring he has the right to and after a look with the binos....

It would appear that the picture links to a video which clearly shows there are 3 roe in the image.
The OP asks whether you'd take the shot, independent of the distance.
IMO the shot, if it was within my comfort zone distance wise, would be perfectly safe.
However, pictures tell a very different story to the eye so the whole post is subjective.

    yes
"Imagine you're a deer. You're prancing along, you get thirsty, you spot a little brook, you put your little deer lips down to the cool clear water... BAM! A f**kin bullet rips off part of your head! Your brains are laying on the ground in little bloody pieces! Now I ask ya. Would you give a f**k what kind of pants the son of a bitch who shot you was wearing?"
