    Geoffs Trophy Buck

Some of you are aware Geoff (Alycidon) slotted a nice 7 point buck whilst out with me on one of our leases.

Hes just sent me a few piccies of the taxidermists work.
I am sure you agree hes done a very nice job and in my view it looks almost alive.

    Beautiful deer and great taxidermy.

    I like that a lot.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you......

I agree with 6 pointer, great taxidermy but would look even better with a smaller shield IMO.

The taxidermist had no option as Geoff wanted the cartridge case he shot the deer with included on the trophy

I suppose he could have super glued it on one of its tines though or maybe sticking out of its lips so it didnt need any space to mount it on.,

I think the guys done a good job

Points noted but to me it matters not a jot, its my first and probably last that I will be lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. I have to say he looks magnificent. Thanks again Stu and Shoot Captain Tony for inviting me up and getting me into him.

Glad I did not miss !!
